NEXT Ensemble concludes its season with "Polarized," a program exploring the intersection of music and political discourse. This concert features fixed and mixed-media works that incorporate and respond to political speech from across the ideological spectrum. The program examines how we engage with political speech in our daily lives, its power to unite, divide, enlighten or deceive, along with its lasting impact on our communities. In an era of increasing polarization, these works invite us to consider how we interact with and use speech and politics.
Please note that tickets purchased in advance are $15. Tickets purchased at the door are $17.
